In the middle of the picturesque Hoog Soeren and diagonally opposite the Veluwse Golfclub lies this attractive farmhouse with stone shed, situated on a plot of 640 m2. The farmhouse was originally built in 1912 but later modernized and in 2011 expanded and provided with a new tile roof. The applied building materials and finishes are chosen with care. The whitewashed outer walls combine beautifully with the traditional shutters and the characteristic roof construction of the farmhouse. They give the whole a romantic and rural look. The windows and frames have rods, and the use of large and low-set windows makes the house wonderfully light. Moreover, there is a view of the garden from every room.

The house is divided on the ground floor with an open kitchen, cosy living room, (work) room and a passage to a large bedroom with a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The first floor has a landing, two bedrooms, a separate toilet and a shower room.

The grounds around the house are fully fenced with greenery and at the front is a beech hedge. The driveway has site paving with basalt-coloured gravel with greenery along the edges. Around the house, paths are paved with cobblestones and lead to the three terraces and the front door. Behind the driveway and parking spaces, a large lawn has been laid out that extends even further around the house. The terraces are on three sides of the house. This makes it possible to enjoy the sun or the shade all day long. The view is free on all sides and yet private. At the rear of the house is a stone shed in the style of the house is built and offers space for example bikes and garden tools. The adjacent roof gives extra storage space or an ideal wood storage.

The beautiful forests of Kroondomein Het Loo give a fantastic nature experience in all seasons. Hoog Soeren is not for nothing proclaimed a national protected village sight. In the vast woodlands and heaths, red deer, wild boar, foxes and badgers can be seen. There are beautiful walking and cycling routes here and partly because of this, Hoog Soeren is on the route of both the Midwinter and Midsummer Marathon of Apeldoorn. Only 240 people live in the village and the surrounding forest area. The Veluwe Golf Club is within walking distance of the house, as are the cosy restaurants and catering terraces.

From a rural perspective, Hoog Soeren is very centrally located. Only 5 kilometres from the ramp to the A1 and the centre of Apeldoorn. Here are several schools, sports facilities, medical care, a large and varied range of shops, the market, various cultural facilities, Orpheus Theatre, the library, restaurants and other entertainment venues. From the station in Apeldoorn there are also good train connections.

Layout:
The covered entrance gives access through the front door which can be opened in two parts to the hall with an authentic Estriken floor and a spacious wardrobe. The toilet room has wall mounted sanitary ware.

Once inside, you will immediately experience the cosy atmosphere of the house. The large living room is focused on the rear and has an oak floor. The windows placed all around give a beautiful view of the garden and provide pleasant light. Breathtakingly beautiful skies and nature come into the living room in all seasons. In the living room, the original shape of the farmhouse is still clearly recognisable. Under the sloping parts, with the beams of the roof structure, are currently a lovely lounge and dining area furnished. Around the atmospheric gas fireplace with natural stone is a seating area. Also next to the fireplace and the open kitchen, there is room for the placement of a dining table overlooking the terrace on the side wall.
The large facade at the rear of the living room has two doors that give direct access to the south-facing terrace. From this terrace there is an unobstructed view of the backyard, the outbuilding and the adjacent green strip. On the back wall is a large awning, which on sunny days can provide shade.

The open kitchen is divided into a U-shaped arrangement with gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, oven and fridge-freezer. Under the two windows is a double sink unit placed. The room is perfect for a rural modern kitchen arrangement. Above the suspended ceiling, air conditioning and indirect lighting are installed.

From the living room is a (work) room accessible where currently in a niche also the connections are for a washing machine and dryer. The large walk-in closet gives wardrobe or storage space. Through the intermediate building there is a passage to the newly built master bedroom. This room has a rural feel to it due to the high ceiling with beams and the beautiful window parties overlooking the garden. The spacious bathroom is en-suite and has a large walk-in shower behind glass wall, which is accessible from two sides. The shower panel offers a rain and hand shower and two large side jets. Furthermore, the bathroom has a bathtub with hydropool, washbasin with a three-door mirror cabinet with lighting. The wall-mounted toilet completes the space. Ventilation can be mechanical or through the large windows.

First floor:
Through the spiral staircase there is access to the floor with a large Velux window and a storage room with the Remeha Avanta HR combi boiler (2011). On the landing there is room for example for a workplace and there is access to a simple shower room and a separate toilet with washbasin. On both sides of the landing are the bedrooms, both spacious enough to accommodate a double bed. The rooms also have a built-in wardrobe and a washbasin. Behind the knee walls there is storage space.
